updates!

ACC selection for time-trial this morning! 2 Trial, Coastal follow by Mt Faber.

I thought my timing would be better as it's a short course.. target to ride at about 95% of my MAP as since it was a short course and to my knowledge I should be able to hold on the pace.
Something that shocked me was so surprising I got the fastest timing.. 1st time I get to win everyone on a FLAT COURSE YA!!!! During the ride, JunRong's remarks came in to my mind.. ( even your leg feel jelly on the course, think about others. Won't they feel too... ) ( tear their legs apart! )

Coastal
Everyone set off with a 1min gap apart from each others. I was set off after Malvin turn. On the starting line, my heart was actually pounding.. heart rate raise to 132bpm.. Legs was feeling so tired from this week training. As I set off I tell myself no matter what I must try to catch my 1min man... The first junction was a bad start for me, straight away I got block off by a lorry... accelerate hard and faster get back to the pace! after entering the coastal road straight away I faster get myself paced nicely all out for the 6km straight road... strong head winds.... hoping to see Malvin shadow at least and FINALLY I saw him! Next, chase him down!!! After few min of trying, I manged to close the gap by quite alot but not close to overtaking him.. by then my heart rate was like crazy... when I reach the finishing line I was relived... done... finally finish...

Mt Faber
By the time I reach Mt Faber I was like fully dead tired.... (FYI, I haven't get to sleep for 24hours.. Had Live Firing last night and by the time I reach home it was already 430am... Wouldn't dare to even take a nap as I know once I close my eyes... THAT IS IT! GONE!! Will be sleeping like a nobody business to the next day...) I was the last one to set off! this time my mind totally shut off... legs feeling very JELLY!!! off I go... all the way up.... reach the top pass the finishing line... I am totally GONE!!! really want to close my eyes! result came out.... I am the LAST.... 4sec back from the 1st guy... SAD!!!! VERY SAD!!! I should be able to pedal up faster than the others!!! given to my build I already have the advantages but.... aiya.... SAD!!!!


I actually just want to give it a try for this selection. JUST A TRY as to everyone knowing I am not even a time trial specialist I do not have the build and power to ride through the strong head wind and accelerate through the tail wind..

Next Tuesday they will officially announced the Time-trial squad and hopefully the Road too and HOPEFULLY at least today's result shows something as I do not have any results from last year to earn me a slot for this ACC.. :( Let's hope this year will be a good start!

Mom bought home BUTTER COOKIES!!! awww... I just ate the whole box all by myself while I am in the midst of typing this post... SINFUL!!!!!
Legs feeling very SORE now... tomorrow 5hours on my saddle again... SO looking forward to next week REST and MASSAGE!!!!!
